Phenomenal woman in my life :)

There are lots of people whom I just look up to as an author, as a journalist, as a professional, as an entrepreneur, as a philanthropist or as an individual, But there is only ONE phenomenal woman in my life with so much of personal touch.

I wouldn't be able to write this down late evening sitting in the office without this female.Looking back, from the 9 months she carried me in her womb, the time she brought me into this beautiful world and the past 23 years, she has influenced, motivated and struggled to bring the best out of me. With no doubts, she is the BIGGEST part of ME! J

 She helped me from the first day I was born. She fed me; she experienced many sleepless nights just to make me feel comfortable; she helped me to make some hardest decisions; she made me understand what life means to a middle class family; She taught me how to behave; She understands my mood swings; She knows me in and out; She helped me to grove as a better person; She taught me to respect people; She is the best cook ever; She made me realize I am so special; She taught me to love myself despite the fact that am Imperfect; She reflects the way I am now; She loved me from heart even after so many annoying stuffs that happened  between us.

And what makes her the most important individual in my life aside from those that I have mentioned? .It is the fact that she introduced another beautiful women in my life, my sister.

Even though we fight many a times, and even if I am not the best child she could ever have, she always makes us feel that WE are the best gift she ever received from God.

She is who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take . None other than my MOTHER.

P.S This post was written for a competition at my work place and was submitted on the last minute.I didn't give it to someone to proof read or neither did i do a spelling or grammar check, It was so straight from heart to the keyboard and this piece of writing is so close to my heart ! :)

chinna chinna aasai ...

                   Some day’s back , during my usual remote play , I got struck up in travel and living channel where a 87 year old lady was being interviewed and she seemed very healthy and brisk and that made me not to continue changing channels. She had some diary in her hand, a kind of TO DO list, and she has made some circles against most of the jotted points and some where left unmarked. Getting through her conversation, I could understand that she was a geologist and was initially screwed up in her profession and never had a balanced family life too. She then decided to lead a planned life and she had a list of “THINGS TO DO BEFORE I DIE” for both her professional and personal life. That was quite a big list and she told the list grows each and every day. And most of the things were related to her field of research which I neither understood and she was completely determined that she can even mark the unmarked ones.

                       Needless to say, i was quite inspired and So I just thought, even I must do this. But I knew that am not quite ambitious but can imagine a lot of things. So this is a kind of..

சின்ன சின்ன ஆசை......சிறகடிக்கும் ஆசை

முத்து முத்து ஆசை முடிந்து வாய்த்த ஆசை ..

என்ன எந்த பூமி.. சுற்றி வர ஆசை..

1. Dance with a group in a street when it is highly crowded during a heavy rain 

( I know it is highly cinematic :P)

2. Reach the top of Eiffel tower and shout “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa………………”

3. Paris, City of love . Make a trip all alone ! ;)

4. Must go to venice for honeymoon for at least some 20 days :P

5. I should develop an Operating System (Pls dont laugh :) )

6. Take my mom and dad to America & make them feel America is better than Europe (முடியுமா சரண்யா ?)

7. I have always heard of Halloween party. I must experience it some tym !

8. On a new year eve, I wish to go on a bike drive on marina beach coz I ve heard a lot about new year night at Chennai..

9. I must bake one good chocolate cake (Sunder recipe would help ).

10. I m not sure of what am gonna do with my first salary. So ok , for the second salary, I must contribute money to someone’s education.

11. I must look so very gorgeous on my sister’s marriage. So that everyone should ask “nee than ponnu nu nenaichenn???”

12. I wish my wedding is on my birthday :D

13. Given any chance, I should meet manmohan singh and ask him “Is anything so special about silence?”

14. In any of the one month salary, I should get an iphone as soon as I earn.

15. Must visit one Christmas carol party.

16. Must know why guys are addicted to cigarette. Should try a puff. Smoke a joint.

17. I must try saving money .

18. Call willsmith for a date, or at least wait for Christopher willsmith(NO OFFENCE!) I can hear “உனக்கே ஓவர் அஹ இல்ல ???”..

19. I must host a dinner for all my friends. Mind it, My preparation.(sorry ppl, u ve no other go).

20. Should plan for a international trip with friends.

21. Should try writing a book “நானும் என் வாழ்க்கையும் ”. Publishers, pls contact me.

22. Must go for a long road trip(bike).

23. Meet the entire Twilight team and get myself very clear that “Whether there is anything called vampires and werewolves??”.

24. From the times of “London bridge is falling down…. Falling down”. I go on crazy behind that, I must take a picture of myself covering the entire bridge.

25. To shop in someone else money.

26. The first birthday after my marriage, I must celebrate in any island.

27. Try aerobics.

28. Must sing in at least one reality show.. (adutha Airtel super singer nan thango !:))

29. Must some tym hear “ Mom you are the best !!..”. just the pride of being a women.

30. I love the name abhilasha .and so if I am blessed with a girl baby, I must keep that name.

31. Learn car driving( I m planning for a veryyy long tym ….)

32. Go to rome with my sister coz I know she just loves that place and i feel there is something so historic about the place.

33. Go for a trip into the forest. Make a tent and stay there at least for a night.

34. To watch a cricket match in a stadium with crowd cheering “INDIA … INDIA …”.

35. Must have a professional photo shoot .

36. Get married (asap J).

37. Say “I LOVE YOU”, some beautiful evening in a beach after a long walk..romantic.

38. Should not buy a house, Instead I must build one.

39. Make interiors myself.

40. Maintain a Garden.

41. Must witness any court scene & ensure “நன் சொல்லுவது எல்லாம் உண்மை , உண்மை தவிர வேறு எதுவும் இல்லை ” does really happen?

42. Excel in my professional life.

43. After a pretty working experience, I must try for Ph.D in Industrial relations and Human resources at Massachusetts institute of technology.That would be like a dream come true.

44. Should gift a car to any of my best friend’s wedding.

45. Earn so much and spend so much!

46. Try different kind of dresses and esp a kind of party wears.

47. Must meet kamal haasan and let him know again that “HE IS A LEGEND !”.

48. Should participate in neeya naaana ,a kind of debate show(any Hot Topics :P).

49. Celebrate my 50 th birthday very grandly.

50. Plan for a family trip, now & then.

51. Should watch a morning show, matinee, evening and night show on a single day.( preferably 4 mokkai padams :P)

52. Just fall in love.

53. Travel in the fastest train in Europe.

54. Visit a pub.

55. Dine at a restaurant which is the most expensive in the city.

56. Get kissed on your forhead.

57. Work at Bangalore .

58. Meet the tribal people and dance with them.

59. Go for hunting.

60. Identify the most loveable place on earth.

61. Travel all around India.

62. Sleep an entire day.

63. Color my hair with the most contrast color

64. Learn psychology sometime in my life.

65. Try anchoring a show.

66. Learn to cook well.

      Ah ah ah.. I know my list keeps growing and you've lost your patience. This is not a kind of TO DO list also, i've just written whatever i felt and  I’ll better stop with this and start marking it from now on…

INNOCENCE DEFINED

          When some one hears the word, it does mean any child.Recently I met a small boy who keeps asking questions what is this? What is that? How is this? Why not like this? I was unable to answer and at one point he made me realize what? Why? When? How? Can make people more sensible and even thought provoking. I was shocked that I would have never thought about such common things which we day to day use in such a perspective.  

          The small boy asked me “what happens if the world stops suddenly???” .Then I told to him, it ll never happen. Then he again asked why is it so?. He threw his ball in the ground and told me “see, the ball has stopped from rotating??”. I never knew earth has such a demonstrationJ. I didn’t know how to answer him and rather my aim was to escape as of now. I told “god keeps on rounding it like how your mom used to make you round in a merry-go-round”. He believed it. . I knew it was one big imagination of mine contrary to rotation and revolution of earth which he is ought to study some day.

We were on a walk with few of my friends. And the small boy asked again looking at the sky. Why is sky blue? .I thought to myself.Inspite of so many girls, why me??? I was literally blinking. He kept on asking the same question. I told its god’s creation. Then he again asked but why blue? I then convinced him telling god might have spilled the ink while he was busy filling it up. He looked at the sky for a long time, and at last accepted it with a highly disappointed face thinking “can I believe what she says???”I was rather happy that I could convince the guy somehow, even though the story sounds to be one dramatic tale. On the other hand, I was getting prepared for the next question.

          After a pretty long walk, my friends were on a discussion that “how beautiful our hostel life was and how parents make their works done when we are at home?” .It was in fact the most funniest discussion about the holiday experiences of about some 6 odd month. I could sense that the guy was listening so keen into the discussion. And I expected that the probability of the next question lies in the discussion domain. He suddenly asked “Why that is your mom is your mom???” and I could guess he means the next question too…”why that is your dad is your dad???” We were all surprised to answer. I was rather shocked. One of my friends immediately uttered its GOD creation. He then again provoked who is God???

          Who is god?? Does god exist?. It’s a million dollar question that has remained unanswered. The most debated topic maybe ever since the evolution of mankind. I know if I had answered “god created the world”. He can easily counter this question by another one,"If God created the world, then who created God?”. I know the guy could imagine such things because he is born to question. I myself had billion questions. If you argue that everything is created by something then who created your creator?If you still argue that God was not created by anyone and that he came into existence by himself, then why cant the world come into existence by itself. With so much of questions to myself, I thought I could never answer the question.

          By the way we reached my friends home, he got diverted by his friends who were playing in the streets. And I gave one big sigh of relief that “Am escaped" !. The best part about it is after I met him I started questioning myself sometimes sensible and some times insensible to the core. Besides fun, I realized Questioning is an art.

what made me feel to write a blog?

yes! for te past few months i ve read some quite good blogs.

and i wanted to write one tooo..i m so much lazy in keep it going.

and so i was put up in random thoughts of wat i can write..

what can make it more special??

yes ! the word tells its all special.

one cannot define a life without friends. There are people who believe that the essence of people can no way affect them and moreover they are not influenced by people. i wonder how s that possible??? . i m basically a person who gets inspired very often , even at the silliest things.I get inspired either by people or thing. In either case, i love the both and i dont expect it back.Expectation to reciprocate to the love u have showered is something illegal!. .

one perfect gentle man told " FRIENDSHIP IS NEITHER SYMMETRIC NOR TRANSITIVE ". i was initially confused what this man is talking all about ?. Symmetric in the sense u can declare some one as your friend but it s unfair to expect the same friend to declare you.Declare in the real sense means an ultimate sharing.

Sometimes i myself feel i m misguided by the word sharing. what is it all about ? it doesnt mean that you have to keep messaging your friend or make him/her updated with what you are doing now. hey! am in canteen,going to a movie today afternoon.. today exam.. pray for me.!! this u can tell to anyone, it doesn't need any special person like a friend to share with.

It's easy to say all these but friendship expects this also.But the real thing is at times when something keeps on disturbing ur heart,when some things cant be shared with everyone, wen something has to find a solution, wen something makes u feel bad,

we ourselves might find the right person . yes! that gets u person where sharing is beyond limits. and we should also chose the right person because thr are people who are happy hearing your problems.

is that all???? can sharing just makes friendship all about ? never. next comes the key factor

UNDERSTANDING!.i ve always heard about understanding beyond words. thr were times i wondered how is it possible?.Even if someone teaches me hardcore, i don't understand.Then how s it about understanding beyond words ?!!

i strongly feel sharing nd understanding are two words that goes together. without sharing , understanding is a big question?. it s quite practical that both are related.it takes time for people to get along with others,get to know what they like nd stuffs like that. "TIME IS THE BEST INVESTMENT".either u spent your time with yourself

or with people whom u cherish always, it ll be best investment forever.if someone spends some time with u,it really means that they value you.I have seen people who quiet often keep boasting " I am busy, have to go with office"," I have no time left,busy 24*7". The quotient you are busy is not a factor to boast, rather you must feel bad that u r busy always." what is life all about without disturbed by the right person???"

TRUST!!!!!. . . trust is automated. it s expected . . its a must ! when someone calls u as a friend , it does mean that i trust you. some times the word TRUST s also misguided. it doesnt simply mean not letting your friends secret out of your feet.

we are not secret holders ! we r also human beings, not autmated though. anyone in such a relationship must know,trust is unintentional.you cant force yourself to be trustworthy., you cant make your friend to believe that u r a person to be trusted.Its something to be felt.

Besides all these there is one unconditional factor LOVE, which just s next to nothing. it doesn't expect ur friend to be trust worthy,neither understanding nor caring. Its a magical feeling, one can never explain it.but everyone will always feel it in their life. if not , they miss something in their life.

we were some three crazy friends in hostel. we ve always wondered about this magical feeling?? and no doubt we had such magical feeling and we formulated the "SENDER RECEIVER THEORY!".It states that "sender shows an unconditional love to the receiver,the receiver is overloaded. response time is quite high and by the time the receiver decides to respond, receiver forgets how to respond.The receiver comes to the state of inexpressiveness.but the sender receives a protocol that they have enough love".

when receivers were asked about it , they told its a feeling to be expressed or narrated by words, instead felt by heaart.

Friendship doesn't expect the degree of reciprocation , but . . . . . .

we knew wat is all above is something to be taken individual point of view.one may expect understanding, others don't.One just expects his/her friend to be caring. life is all about expectation and it is unfair to force your expectation on others. and rather friendship is a relationship and you cant formulate certain factors to be your friend???. it s some thing that has to happen . . friendship is an accident. . happening. . event. . .

while i was writing al these.. it made me think how ll life be without friends??

To be frank, i couldnt think of one such life.i ve seen people who strongly belief that relationships are least important.To all those people, life is very short. you cant make the best time unless you are put into a place where you cherish others.Happiness is what you create. "HAPPINESS IS A DECISION".

live life and only people in your life can make it worth!
